North Texas Teen Book Festival Recaps
The free one-day festival promotes reading and celebrates both middle grade and young adult literature. It is hosted by the Irving Public Library and its partners, Friends of the Irving Public Library, local school districts, museums, and other local libraries.

NTTBF turned 10 this year! And, what a year it was- a great line-up of authors, a new book seller, and the biggest attendance to date. Ed Day saw 865 Educators energized by 45 authors in various panels and Festival Day featured 76 authors and an audience size of 15, 516. Over 11,000 books were sold between the two days. It was a great 10th anniversary!

With over 9000 attendees and 7000+ books sold, NTTBF23 returned to completely in person with a bang! This year also saw the introduction of Increased accessibility with live captioning (provided by VITAC) for all panels, sign language interpretation at select panels, and a sensory escape room.
