NTTBF22 will be presented in a hybrid model, both virtually and in-person, on March 4-5, 2022.

Virtual School Day: Friday, March 4, 2022
Hosted by Sam Houston State University’s College of Education

  • 14 author spotlights and panels featuring 40 authors

  • Debuting on the festival’s YouTube channel for on-demand viewing starting at 7:30 a.m.

Festival Day: Saturday, March 5, 2022
Irving Convention Center, 500 W. Las Colinas Blvd.

  • 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Featuring author panels, speed dating with a book, book sales, and more

  • Over 40 Middle Grade and Young Adult authors

  • Pre-signed books available for sale by Barnes & Noble on-site

  • Full author lineup list coming in February

  • Admission is free, parking is $10


  • Masks and social distancing are strongly encouraged

  • Traffic flow managed through staggered panel times

  • Free NTTBF facemasks available

  • Facemask accessory giveaways throughout the day

  • Reduced seating capacities in rooms

  • Publisher and bookseller implemented protocols may be in place for the health of authors, staff and attendees
